I wasn't ready for an international audience. Death Valley is a U.S. national park in California. It contains the lowest point in the western hemisphere (-282 msl). Temps in the summer can reach 120 F and rain is scant, but it also contains a peak over 11,000 feet and some amazing rock formations. Thanks for your comments.
